i think u guys need to know at least some basic things about drug...
because the drugs or medicines you are taking at the moment might not be as good as u thought it would be.. (apekah?)
let me tell u some case study about one of the famous bad drugs ever marketed...hmmm...
yes it's thalidomide!!
thalidomide was developed by Chemie Grunenthal....a German pharmaceutical company. in the early 1960s it became a favorite for everyone!!! yup..yup a sleeping tablet!.. the best things about thalidomide at that time were it was inexpensive and readily available without a prescription..! which mean you can have thalidomide easily!
it was also widely used in homes, hospitals and mental institutions...oh, for your information thalidomide is worked as a hypnotic, acting promptly to give a deep all-night sleep without hangover...and also it helped to combat the nausea of pregnancy (morning sickness)
and at that time it appeared to be perfectly safe for humans and animals...and everyone thought it's cool since it cheap n effective...
but...they forgot about one thing!!! they didn't have a complete or sufficient clinical trials or information...that IT WAS STRONGLY NOT FOR PREGNANT MOTHER.
babies delivered from women who have taken this drug during pregnancy were grossly deformed. their long bones of arms failed to grow and possessed characteristic of phocomelia.

hahah..saje jer..nak practice menulis for thalidomide part history...
ibrAh yg saya dapat adelah... mungkin dgn kecuaian kita dlm membuat sesuatu tu akan beri impact yg besar dlm kehidupan org lain.. or mungkin jugak dlm konteks D&T, akn menyebabkan masalah.
Namun kalu bukan dgn kesalahan itu kadang2 kita tak akn belajar...
skrg barulah org tau bhw thalidomide tu tak sesuai tok pregnant mother...sebab sebelum die tak buat clinical test pun kat pregnant mother...
Memang kalau boleh kita kena elakkan membuat kesalahan namun jgn pula kita tidak membuat sesuautu itu krn takut untuk "tersalah"..krn mungkin dgn kesalahan kita org lain akn dapat manfaat yg lebih besar..

lepas je org tahu thalidomide had cause birth defect, it was withdrawn from market and research for this drug also was abandoned.
but at one time, barulah org sedar yg thalidomide isn't that bad.
researh re-initiated and it is found that this drug is actually good for ENL.
betul la apa yg cik kiah cakap tu. kita kdg2 takut utk memulakan sbb takut salah. tapi at least org dah buat tu, dapat belajar sesuatu drpd kesalahan dia tu. tapi org yg tak buat tu, samapi bila2 pon syok sendiri, sbb rasa terlepas dari melakukan kesalahan. padahal tidak berbuat sesuatu itu juga adalah satu kesalahan.
dan satu lagi,
kalau kita perasan mungkin cara kita tu salah atau tak sesuai pada suatu condition tapi satu condition yg lain ia amat bagus sbnrnya spt thalidomide yg sgt berbahaya utk pregnant women but very good to ENL patient. jadi, jgn terus buang idea2 kita sebaliknya guna pada masa dan kondisi yg paling sesuai dgnnya.

betul manusia mmg suke experiment...because fitrahnya they want to know the truth about something...but salahnya andai cara yg digunakan itu tak "direstui" Allah..
hmm dlm kehidupan pun kena buat experiment especially terhadap diri sendiri.. cth takut gelap. experimentnye= test diri berapa lama boleh dok dlm gelap hehe... through experiment u'll know how to improve smthg.
borned deformed? memang tak tau apa perasaan andai dilahirkan sebegitu.. namun in "any types of forms" (adekah ayt sebegini?) Allah knows what best for us...
